Realstars was contacted by five students from the Marina School in Danderyd who have created a Young Achievement Corporation with a sustainability focus through Young Entrepreneurs. We welcome the student’s creative method to draw attention to how the global human trafficking industry reduces people to goods through a commodity and a logo with a signal value. Realstars asked them to share their thoughts about their corporation Path UF, People against trading humans, who donates 50% of their profit to organizations that work against human trafficking.
We are five students from Marina School in Danderyd, whom through the training course in entrepreneurship, run an ongoing young entrepreneur’s business. We call ourselves Path UF (people against trading humans) and we have launched a reuseable thermos mug for hot- and cold drinks, which means quality and sustainability in combination with a nice design and logo with a signal value. We at Path UF run our business with an issue close to heart and that is the basis for who we are, namely that of all humans’ equal rights and that this cannot be taken for granted by all. Our self-designed logo on the mug, in the shape of a bar-code therefore signals the protection of all human’s equal value. Bar-codes, as we know, are used for representing ownership of goods and people that have fallen victims of trafficking, and who are treated the same way – like a commodity with a bar-code.
Today, millions of people globally are slaves within human trafficking, which is one of the most profitable forms of organized crime. That’s why we at Path UF have chosen to donate 50% of our profit to organization’s that work against human trafficking, including our friends at RealStars that we’ve had the opportunity to come into contact with.
