Health care raises the status of Thai massage

Kvinnor Emellan [Between Women] met in the middle of October in Gothenburg. We had as usual a worthwhile discussion and a good exchange of experiences, and this time we were four participants who all have had coaching with “Växtkraft Thai”, an individually adapted support to change. This support has led to us taking one more step towards strengthening the work to drive a serious Thai massage salon and improve the work environment.

During the meeting, several interesting areas were discussed that can contribute to marketing Thai massage as “only massage”, but the biggest focus was on the question of health care. The conversation about health care had been brought up a month ago when I, Mojsan, as a process leader in Gothenburg, had discussed this with one of the women in the industry, Så at Korat Thai massage, that health care as a good method of marketing the salon and create new customers and she then choose to connect with Actiway/ePassi, a business that work with mediating health care in an easy and available way and now has 310 Thai massage salons connected around Sweden. She was a bit dubious in the beginning because only one customer used it in the first week, but after a month she had eleven new customers and in the middle of November an additional five new customers.

During the meeting with, Kvinnor Emellan [Between Women] the participants were themselves leading the discussion and two others that weren’t using Actiway/ePassi got interested and inspired. Amongst other things, we talked about the benefits and disadvantages with health Care grants by connecting to Actiway/ePassi, and came to the conclusion that this means that we expand the marketing of a professional Thai massage salon and thus reach out to more serious customers.
