On November 12, ChildX, together with Novahuset, Ellencenter, and us at Realstars, organized a national conference in Stockholm focused on identifying sexual exploitation of children and how to support those affected.
The day was filled with insights and discussions on how to identify and support children at risk of exploitation. As co-organizers, we were present with our booth, participated in key lectures, and contributed with artwork created by high school students during our Fair Sex lectures. Malin Roux Johansson, RealStars’ Secretary General, presented a Call to Action, allowing attendees to sign a petition urging the government to shut down so-called digital brothels. This came after she presented a recent Novus survey showing that eight out of ten Swedes demand a ban on sex-buying and sugar dating websites.

The conference brought together dedicated stakeholders from all sectors of society to share knowledge on how we can identify and support children who are subjected to exploitation, especially on digital platforms. It was an educational and inspiring day, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to ChildX, all co-organizers, speakers, participants, as well as for the music and poetry contributions. Together, we are a stronger force in the fight against sexual exploitation and in creating a safer future for children and young people!
